Fundraising is a very important component in the Calgary Learning Centre's revenue. It helps ensure that programs and services are available to children, youth, adults and families who need it.
Fundraising: What does it look like?
Fundraising activities include annual giving, major gifts, endowment and planned gifts, foundation and government proposals and special events. Through these revenue streams, we are able to raise more than 25% of our annual budget. The more diverse our revenue streams the greater we are able to weather the yearly fluctuations in funding sources - thus ensuring that programs continue uninterrupted to the community.
Your Investment
As donors, you invest in the Centre. Your donation is meaningful to you; you can be closely connected to the Centre for personal reasons or you just wish to see real, positive change happen for the hundreds of people we help. Through your investment, you have made a commitment to the Centre, and placed your trust in our mission to 'change lives through learning'.
